ABOUT
I have spent over three decades working as a freelance illustrator and textile designer. My clients include: Papyrus, Zara, Gap, H&M, Royal Opera House, Camden Graphics, Marks and Spencer.
Working in many mediums, I am particularly drawn to flowers because of the form and colour. I love to paint in an abstract way and am especially interested in the relationship between the variety of colours and mixing them to create richness and vibrancy. I regularly exhibit my paintings at arts festivals and galleries.
I love to help pass on some of my passion, knowledge and experience through teaching, spending fifteen years teaching part-time on undergraduate degree courses at several art colleges in the UK.
I studied Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University and after spending most of my life in the UK and Europe, I now live in Vancouver with my husband and four children.
